need extreme ansers

have a 01 4.3 w/70,000 new serp. lats year. no bearing noise in alt. or comprs.(just recharged a/c 2 days ago cause ohio is experiencing global warming) now a wierd noise like a bird chirp when truck is in gear and moving but only when accel. and or deaccel. not at stops or in park... this shit is driving me crazy when the big show is the wkend of 19 and would totally embarr. cruising w/ this sound esp. at low speeds

let me get this striaght... people get mad when sum one ask a question to one group of people, and that person that asked that asked the ? still investigates in other areas of the brain????? WOW! I thought this entire forum was for s-series lovers, not people that get annoyed easily....

Then you better get off of it, because you just got annoyed pretty easily by those two responses. By the way, you'll get plenty of answers without posting your questions in several areas.

Just a little GM experience here, but your sure its not coming from the transmission correct? If your getting that on excel and wile slowing down? If its the belt, this will fix it. Get a bar of soap (zest, lava) whatever, and while the truck is idiling place the soap against all 4 sides of the belt, dont hold it there though LOL* If its the belt, it will immediately stop squealing, secondly, check your ac compressor and be sure the clutch is not stuck engaged, this will cause a higher pitch whistling. Finally, but just as a closing thought, if you have an aftermarket intake, make sure its tightly sealed and their are no leaks going into the intake (including any spacers you may have installed) GL.
