Re: Need center console info

I know in 02+ Blazer ZR2'S and all Blazer Xtremes have Floor shifters, I didn't think any S-10's ever had one.
Certain pre 98 Blazers/Jimmys had em too but I can't help you there.

WRONG. yes they did.

95 S Trucker is right. the first year for them was 97, and they will be in almost every 97 s-series (including trucks). after that, they are pretty much only in blazers/jimmys/bravadas.

Re: Need center console info

my bros s10 ecsb 4.3 auto has one factory he bought it 2 yrs ago from the local dealer that an older man traded in. it only has 45k miles on it. i thought it was changes, but his column looks factory and i even asked my gm buddy about it. they did put them in some s10/s15 trucks.

Re: Need center console info

I think they did too but ive never seen anything to prove to me they do my truck looks like it came in it too, because the shift assembly is removed off the column but it didnt come like that, i know 97 was the first year and everything but i have yet to see one in a truck.

I have never seen a 1997 S10 pickup with a factory floor shifter (that wasn't swapped in), but maybe a select few did come with them, I am not an expert.

Until I am proven wrong however, I still stand by that NO 1998-2003 S10 pickups came with floor shifters from the factory. Many Blazers/Jimmys came with them and all Bravadas came with them, but no trucks.

Re: Need center console info

I already agreed with you that some 97 pickups had floor shifters. Thanks for the links though, now I have seen the light.

The fact still remains that 98-03 pickups did not have them, and you said some did:

Re: Need center console info

did you get the wiring harness for the neutral safety switch? if not you have to zip tie it i think is what more people do. but youll love it, i love mine it changes the whole interior of the truck and completely catches people off gaurd
