Re: lowest static X?

Most I have seen on here is a 4/5.5 Its some black ext cab stepside with black wheels. I just saw it somewhere. Mines not an xtreme but still has body kits and is a zq8 and is at 3.5/5.5 and as far as the kits go mines still lower than a 4/5.5 xtreme kit wise but thats just because my kit hangs a tad lower all the way around than the xtreme kit does

Re: lowest static X?

I need to get some new pics of my truck and update my sig and avatar now that I have my drop finished and new wheels on as of last week. Hell, the 18's up front dropped the kit about another half inch to .75 inches but the 20's out back kind of raised up the rear about an inch to inch and a half, maybe even 2 inches

Re: lowest static X?

A guy I used to know, had an X that was 5/6 he had a bolt in notch in the rear I think. he also had a 20/22 combo. I don't know if he's on this forum or not....

Pics of this? Unless he is on 20s all the way around I dont see how this is driveable at all....not saying I dont believe it, but there is no way it can possibly be a daily that low. I'm only at 3.5/5.5 like I said but the front is just too damn low and thats why im about to bag my truck for drivability

Man I wanna see pics, i got all excited now, lol

Re: lowest static X?

This is kind of misleading, because some people have 20's, and some are still rocking the stockers. A stock Xtreme with a 5/6 would be CRAZY! An Xtreme with 20's and a 5/6 is fairly low... Not in the same ballpark, though!

Completely true. I havent seen an xtreme that was 5/6 or greater on either stock wheels or 18's or smaller. I've seen a few 5/6 on 20's but they are still higher than what I would be or many other guys with less drop.

Awesome...im ready to see it. Do you know what size wheels hes running? If he's on 20's that won't surprise me, but if hes on anything smaller than that I'll be damned, and is it a daily?

Re: lowest static X?

i dont see how I looked over your post man, the blazer looks great...Im a big fan of stupid low xtremes for some reason. Bagged is nice, and what I'm looking into now, but its always fun to see guys like us who are almost too low if there ever was such a thing

Re: lowest static X?

I was talking to 94redss unless you have another truck. Even with another inch my truck may not be lower frame wise, but kit wise, other than Maybe the guy with the blazer, and bondoville if he had a diff front bumper, im pretty much still a good ways lower kit wise. My front valence is exactly the height of the width of a cigarette box off the ground...and I have to wedge the box in there to get that to fit........not tryin to sound like an ass, just sayin....

Re: lowest static X?

I don't see any problems going completely 5/6 on that size tire, but just depends on how low you want to go. there are enough trucks on here to get an idea of about how low the kit will be. But as far as tire/wheel concerns go you should be able to run a 5/6....might have to do a tad bit of work up front but the rear is no problem once you cut out the bumpstop brackets completely

Re: lowest static X?

If your looking to go all out and get a 5/6, up front you would need 2 inch drop spindles, and a 3 inch drop coil. Out back you would need 3 inch drop leafs, 3 inch blocks, angled if you have an extended cab, straight if a single cab, although you may or may not need shims according to what your pinion angle is after the drop. Also you would need drop shocks all around also.
