How do I drain radiator?

I am going to install a 180 thermostat in my 2000X. How do I drain the radiator? Is there a valve somewhere that lets it drain or do I have to remove one of the hoses? Do I even need to drain the radiator?

On the bottom of the passenger side radiator there is a green valve. Thats the easy way to drain it.

dont be a pvssy, just undo the two bolts, pull out the old thermostat, put in the new one, and bolt it back on, you'll lose like a cup of fluid, then just wipe up the fluid, dont drain the whole thing for crying out loud, you kids and your damn way of making everything difficult

Personally I dont like something that eats away paint and rubber when it leaks on my engine. Draining half a litre of coolant out the of the radiator clears up the hose above the stat itself. Squeeze the hose above the stat that will push any left over coolant passed the stat so you dont drip coolant everywhere when you take it off.

If you do decide to drain the whole radiator go ahead and flush the motor as well since the thermostat is off.
