Another beat to death lowering an Xtreme question

Hey guys,Sorry for the repeat nonsense. Need some "I only wanna do this once reassurance"

I have a 2001 S10 Xtreme extended cab. It had the Flex 2.2 with an auto from the factory. Im in the process of installing an LQ9 6.0 with a 4L80e and a 8.5 10 Bolt rear. I want to lower the truck another inch or 2 tops in the front and want to know the best way to do that. I know the V6 coils are supposed so work well with the LS swaps due to the close weights between a dressed iron 4.3 versus the half aluminam LS engines. I only need to handle the front right now, I work at a leaf spring shop so the rear will be done with a re-arch once the front looks good. I dont want to lower the front too far due to the daily driven nature of this truck. Any advice would be great!

I dont think it matters but im using the RWD Blazer spindles and front brakes.

And for weight purposes it will be a non AC truck as well.

Just use 2 in drop spindles. Shouldn't have any problem withholding the weight of a 6.0... I'll be using drop spindles with my 5.3 swap.

I'd go with a set of spindles . I'tll be sitting at a pretty nice height. Thats what mines at, but unfortunately I dont have a v8' .

Re: Another beat to death lowering an Xtreme question

full zq8 (4 cyl/man trans) suspension with 2" spindles and 3" blocks. I had to cut half a coil off to get the front end down to where it was in the (red) 4 cylinder truck. these are 2 different trucks. my stripped v8 set up was lighter than the fully dressed 2.2
