Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
if you look at the date posted (02-09-2004, 12:16 AM)
it is well possible that 5 years ago it would go for 170$ now that kit would run you 245.90$+tax+shipping (spindles and blocks at summit racing) |

Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
bought a 02 Sonoma extended with flat block previous installed. Feel vibration around 45mph. Heard about a angled block, can someone tell me the measurement of the block for I work in a Fabrication shop that I can build it myself. Just need the dimension and angle needed. Also Notice on the 2driveshaft center Hanger has a spacer block around 3/4". Does it need to be there? thanks

Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
isn't the wheel rubbing on a full lock turn, caused by the wheel weights discount tire or whoever else does your tires, puts them on, on the inside of the wheel? i strongly would like to take my truck back and have them take those weights off....shit makes me feel dumb when i turn like that and have a passenger. especially females! haha

Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
i dont know about all that. all i know is you need weights so if you remove them you need to move them to the outside or it will ride like shit

Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
hey guys i have a question. ive seen alot of extremes on here with a 2/3 drop and 20s. i love the way that they look. i have a 96 regular cab ls that i converted to an extreme. it has a beltech 2/3 drop using spindles and blocks on it but the extremes cam 1.5 in lower from the factory. can i jus drop it another in in the front with springs and a 4 in block in the back? will i run into any problems?

Re: All of your 2/3 drop info here!
I have read a lot of you guys asking about the spacer for the driver side coil to make it sit level and read about how all the trucks sit this way from the factory. Well there is a reason for it. I live in California so it really helps out with our roads. The reason our trucks sit 1/4"-1/2" lower on the driver side than the passenger side is so that the truck sits level with the crown in the road. Most roads are slightly raised towards the middle of the road and tend to drop off towards the left and right of the center. This is to help with water and debris running off the road and so Chevy mad these trucks along with silverados and other vehicles sit a little lower on the driver side to make the truck sit level when driving down the road. Its not enough to really tell a difference but it is there. Just a little info for those wondering why it had a so called "defect" in suspension.
