98 to 94 engine swap

is everything the same when swaping a 98 motor into a 94? i have an 98 zQ8 that i wrecked and was goin to buy another truck and put my motor in it, but the 94 body style is alot cheaper. my ZQ8 is an 2.2 5 speed. the frame on my truck is screwed, i hit a 1ft tall curb with the lower control arm and the frame is way to bent for me to fix haha. thanks for all your help, im new to this site

No they do not interchange unless you swap out the wire harness, dash, computer, and all sorts of modifications. It can be done but its not just a simple motor to motor swap
