2000 Xtreme Shaking at 54-56 MPH

Hi I am new to this but mabey someone can help.
I have A 2000 xtreme ext cab with a 4.3vortex and an automatic transmission I had new tires put on and the people I bought it from change out the U joints but any why at about 54-55 or so the truck will start shaking if I slow down it will tapper of I have it at A shop right now and they cant figue it out they had the drive shaft ballanced and that didnt fix the problem they spin ballance the tires they are all good they put an alinement on it still the truck shakes they even rotate the tires. Like I said the truck is still at the shop they called me tonight and said they want to fix it but dont no whats wrong and also they told me all the front end looks good and soild what should I tell them does any one what could be wrong thank evenone for reading this and any help. Hi and thanks for the reply so how sure are you that it is the stock wheels. I am just asking I am on disability right now from a back surgery and I dont really have the money to spend or though away right now I dont have a problem gettein new wheels if it well fix the problem. Even if they spin ballanced all the wheels on the truck????

Has it been lowered at all? Your driveline may need to be aligned...

Check motor mounts, I had the same prob and did the same things, than I pulled the motor and there it was a broken driverside mount, mine was bad at 130 to 140 kmph

id say check alignment and balance that should cover everything. most of the time that is what the problem is.... when hit the brakes at like 30 does it pull at all.... dont slam em just put some pressure on them.... if it does then have it aligned anyway and that should fix your prob.

OK I have found out what the shaking is all about it was the rear back wheel is alittle bent, So now I am looking for a wheel

Hi I think that we found the problem the tires that I bought are bad now I am fighting with GOODYEAR to correct the problem. Hope that this week I get a new set of rubber.
