Question Will vortec heads work on a sy/ty?

A guy by my house with a high 11 sec syclone wants to know if my old heads will work on his truck. I was tellin him how the vortec heads flow better.

You guys should see his setup its pretty bad ass. Air to Air I/C, E-fans, Alcohol injection (f*cking awsome: When he sprays it the throttle body area+intake manifold is COLD!), He's running a bigger turbo, some chip, boost controller, w/ alcohol injection 24psi, he's got a super built 700r4 tranny, 315/40/17 rear and 275/40/17 front tires, Chrome SLP 5spokes, and so much more I forgot. Its bad azz.

yes, they will fit, but they are not direct bolt on. the lower intake and heads must be sent to a machine shop to be welded and redrilled for the new bolt pattern the 96+ heads have.

ummmmmmmmm, yeah, but so do L35 heads and they are direct bolt on.

Just about anything will flow better than stock SyTy heads. LB4 heads totally suck.
