Re: typhoon for my blazer crazyy

I'd run the vin over on syty.net and see if you can find all the problems with it.

That Ty seems to have a Lot of extra not strategically placed wires under the hood... would make me skeptical on what else that's done that you can not see

Re: typhoon for my blazer crazyy

I can ask for ya over there if ya want and send a link to the thread to ya. Only thing about running it over there is they are a tight knit group and you prolly can find somebody that used to own it and give more details about it.

Re: typhoon for my blazer crazyy

No real info on it, can't pull a carfax with anything less than 17 digits.

http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=71988

If you can pull the original vin might be able to search more. It should still be on the frame or engine if its orginal.

Re: typhoon for my blazer crazyy

be careful gettin a modded sy/ty.even stock they always need to be maintained and worked on if u wish to use it as a daily, modded just adds to that.I would be cautious about all the wires going everywhere under the hood

Re: typhoon for my blazer crazyy

Keep us posted on the progress. I saw he had it listed on several different sites a couple different times. A good trade though, you'll have tons of fun when you get it running right. I don't mean to be a back seat mechanic but make sure you stick a rag or tape off the turbo inlet if you take the piping off to work on it. I got a piece of debris in my blower right after I got it and had to send it right back after I cranked it up and had that piece of trash mess up my turbine. I'm sure you know that, but there was a picture and that stuck out to me. How does everything else look on the truck?
