Street charger ?

Im runin a 36 volt setup could i buy a 48 volt street charger and run my amps off the other 12v? Could i run 3 batts at 12v and 3 at 36v?

Doesn't work that way, you can't effectively split 12v off a 48v system without spending a crapload of money and even then the streetcharger doesn't supply enough amperage to run a stereo even with batteries, it's not an alternator it's only meant to recharge short usage on deep cycles in the sense. It would be more cost effective to upgrade your alternator and add a second battery and a cap to your existing electric system.
