hydro cylinders vs. air cylinders

right now i have my blazer bagged and also have a 88 s10 thats going to be my girls daily driver and its gonna be bagged, my question is that are air cylinders any different than hyrdrolic cylinders, like size wise, i have been told i can't put air cylinders in cause there is no room, but yet, there is room to do cylinders for dros? i want air cylinders to do three wheel and all that and to suck the tire up into the wheel well when parked with a standing 3 wheel

Re: hydro cylinders vs. air cylinders

hydro cylinders are skinny, like 1.5 - 2'' wide compared to air cylinders for suspension that are like 4''+ wide

The problem with air cylinder in the front of your truck would be the fact that you would have to modify the crap out of the frame to get it to bolt in and to fit height wise. As far as hydraulic cylinders go skinny's are 1 1/2" and standard are 1 5/8".

yea, i always saw this guy in AZ every weekend at a show all the time that had air cylinders and could do a sweet standing three wheel and suck the wheel up in the wheel well.
