Re: got a set up.. not sure what to do
hydros are gonna ride really rough, but if you can get a good deal then go for it. If it is your daily driver I would save for bags, but you could just as easily get some shag carpet, fuzzy dice, and wire wheels and pimp the dros. Ur call, I would do bags, not cause I am really a fan of either, but because it is your daily driver.

Re: got a set up.. not sure what to do
Dude juice does NOT always ride rough.
Depends on what brand, and all that, but you may need front coils, or you can run accumulators... Either way you can set it up to ride like a dream. Get me some more info on the setup, and I'll see what I can do to help you out. |

my hydros on my 89 ride pretty good. I used softer springs, and put shocks in on all 4.

Re: got a set up.. not sure what to do
im not going to get on the debate of what rides better or not ETC. Im just going to answer the question. What will you need?
a notch, bridge in the back, either power balls or heim joints to mount the cyls to the axle in the back. a Link setup for the rear (if u wanted one) you can run a mono leaf, but i would run a link, ull need springs for the front and back, possibly accumulators, shocks, see if the setup comes with cups and donuts, does it have a switch box? may want to find out what kinda pumps, just in case something happens then u will know where to get parts, Bulk head fittings to clean up the front hoses, ull need a pump / battery rack. I think that is about it. |

Re: got a set up.. not sure what to do
drill a hole in the bottom of the cylinder.straight through it. Get 2 pieces of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 wall tubing cut 1 1/2 long. Then cut 1 side off so it looks like a channel. Drill a hole in about the center ( check for clearance so the cylinder dont bind ) I used 7/16 holes grade 8 bolts on 2 rides no probs. Weld the brackets on the rear axle so the cylinders can tip side to side.take 2 donuts weld a piece of pipe in the center of the donuts that fits tight inside the spring. weld another pipe inside your bridge to keep the spring in place on top. if you using a bridge, Thats a cheap eazy way. Or go buy some powerballs. and reverse cups
