anyone know the best way to fix a frame problem?
I just put my setup on, no reinforcing and when I lifted the truck the frame above the axle (an obvious weak point) got pulled down.Like the leafs pulled the frame down in the back. I could tell when it looked like my bed was being tweaked down and the gap between the cab and bed was larger at the top than the bottom. there is a bow on the outside of the frame and a small bend inward on the bottom of the frame rail, I could see, with the rear bumper off, the passenger side frame was about an inch lower than the driver side the bed looked a little off too nothing major yet but I ripped it all apart and want to fix it now. Will welding 1/4 inch steel along the outside of the frame along that weak spot fix the problem, can I box it in some places, I don't know if I can get too the inside that easy.
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

yes dropped leafs, I know that helped cause the frame to bend, the leafs pulling down on the ass, but I don't see a 4 link any time soon

x3 you have to lose the leafs.the stress the cylinders put on them makes the frame bow in weak spots. an after time it will crack or even worse snap completely

Re: anyone know the best way to fix a frame problem?
you need to take your truck to a bodyshop so they can pull it back to factory specs, only solution, other than the SD backhalf
