Anyone have any ideas?

Ok. he's the deal. this is drivin me nuts. Lol. I have a 1999 S10 ZR2 4.3L. I put dual exhaust on it, all straight 2 1/2 in. pipe. No cat, no muffler, nothin. Drove for about 15 miles, and the light came on, the code was low catylist efficientcy. So i put an o2 simulator in place of my downstream cat. Then it through another code that said incifficient activity for that same sensor. Well, after talk to a couple of my instructors at school. They told me to try and put another o2 sensor in, a new one. Well, now im back where i started. Anyone have any ideas? Or maybe i hooked my simulator up wrong or something? Idk. Help will be well appeciated.
