How does it ride now? Have you ever rode without them?

Re: Accumies

i think 2 tons are a little stiff, try swapping to 1 tons and see how it rides. i have 1/2 ton coils on my truck cut down to 4 coils with no accumulators and i like the way it rides. i have accums on the rear with the SD 3 link and it rides great

Re: Accumies

How many turns of coil do you have? What size motor you got under the hood?
Also what h kind of accums do you have , are they new or used? If used , the old owner might have let the pressure out.

Re: Accumies

its a coil over because when i built the front end on this truck i set it up for running just straight accumies so i built tubular a arms and then put a hiem joint at the bottom of the cylinder so their is no lower spring cup and i went threw one set of accumies already so i just put the spring in their to help out the accumies so they dont wear out so fast remember this isnt a hopper its a lay and play on 20s and no its not a 4x4

Re: Accumies

one more of the rear if u look closely u can see the bags under the cylinders basically actin as a coil also the 2 pumps on the outside are for the front as u can see the accumies on them and the middle pump for the rear

Re: Accumies

the reason its a coil over is because i have no lower spring cup so instead of going threw the trouble of makin one it was easier just to make it a coil over to tell u the truth the coil really isnt doing nothin except give me more lock out
