lincoln power 180C welder

hey was thining about getting this machine but im a bit confused about the this: It's a portable wire welder designed for use with industrial 230 volt input power, so you can weld on thicker material - up to 3/16" with MIG welding and 1/2" with gas-less flux-cored welding.

I know that it means i can get more power out of it which is what i need cuz i cant afford a 220 MIG, but i dont understand how it achieves so much power? I also dont understand if it is the small plug type or do i have to have a 220 plug in? Anybody know whats up with these things looks like a good deal to me if i was just more knowledgeable about the features it would help.

Re: lincoln power 180C welder

It is Most likely the 50AMP Large Edison connector (220V single phase)

May or may not have the bottom Neutral Pin

Re: lincoln power 180C welder

Also it is an inverter style welder, much more efficient then the older 'magnetic' or transformer based welders you may be used too.
