I hope all you are having a better year than I am so far.
Bout a month and a half ago i wrecked my impala (It's fixed now). And as you know my MOM passed away a few weeks ago. Not more than three days after I get back from her Funeral My dad has an accident With his fork lift, Got crushed between the mast and frame. 10 broken ribs, broken jaw, 2 cracked vertebrets, broken sholder blade, whip lash. Two collapsed lungs which in turn sent him into cardiac arrest (do to the pressure on his heart). He's in ICU at regional med. center. His lungs are so bruised they have him sedated and on a ventilator so he doesn't move around to much and injure himself more. Tomorrow they are gonna give him a traciatomy for the ventilator and feeding tube so they can repair his jaw. But the good news is he does not have a head injury like we thought at first. man thats some shit luck, when shit goes bad it seems to pile on, its not near the same but i shit canned my relationship with my dad, was on verge of getting kicked outta university for non payment, grandmother had 2 strokes and almost lost my gf and my truck.
shit seems bad but itll owrk out, it just all seems to pile up, best thing is to just handle things one at a time and dont lose hope. all the best to you and your dad. |
