well i didnt wanna make one of those threads that didnt have progress until i got myt ax return back so i could drop a chunk on parts and work. a friend of mine (minituckin') on here is assisting me and then some with this project he did the initial bag on it so i went back to him when as you know it got totalled out. so here is it we played around of course and put some 20's behind the fender to see. but its gonna be like 4 inch SF and 1 inch Trad.
well we took the body off the frame last night and played around with brandons 20's and here they are
we're building a new smoothy firewall no tubs no holes. so here ya go.

Why does it scare you? Think your's won't be unique? I'm sure it will. You can always compare each others work. I'm sure each of you will have things that are better or worse than the other, or just different. I'll be impressed enough if all 3 make it. I still haven't seen a complete bd 1st gen 4-door. There's that one on 22's at ITB but it's still got a long way to go.

scares you lol i think its awsome just makes you want to be better at the work you do. mine will be a rolling frame with body mounted for sure dont no if ill have the motor done and i still gotta get the drive shaft made and run the gas lines brake lines wirering air lines so it will take some work

also you building your truck for your self or to inpress people?? i mean i think its awsome me and bj will be parked by each other so maybe you could join us lol i think its awsome tho

im running a stock 4.3 so to speak it might be build later but for now it will be just a v6. too many 350 swaps if i do deside on a swap it will be a 396 or a 383 stroker. im also getting SD to build me a custom wishbone set-up i hope.

Nothing wrong with a stock 4.3. Since you have it out you should take some time to clean it up. A lot of the wiring can be cleaned up by extending wires here and there to make them tuck away better. The headlight wiring can be run between the inner and outer fender. Stuff like that.

ya the wiring will be clean i hope the engine might get a coat of paint too i hope just depends on the time frame we have to work with.
