Pretty simple question

Did you cut away your back cab wall? if so what did you use and was it before or after you smoothed it.

john correct me if im wrong but i beielve he made his template cut the shape of the back wall out of sheet metal from his template and tacked it over the back wall and he plans on body working the edges original back wall is still there

I'm gonna agree with the comments on the fuel cell. Those tabs arent really meant to support the cell, just to located it. But it should be mounted with something across the bottom holding the weight.

i think it might be fine the way its mounted i would jst make sure it has some bushings under the mounts so the tabs dont break off from bumps and stuff

It wont work.. I already lost a tab with rubber between the mount and tube... Im pressy sure theres a reason the makers of these fuel cells have a piece of paper that come with them that say the tabs arent for mounting, just for locating the tank... Would you realy trust 4 thin ass tabs to keep 15 or so gallons in place lol.

Well, I always think it's an update and get the same results also, but for those who want to come in and say it looks good repeatedly, I'm sure that's good motivation for the builders so I'd say continue on.

Also agree about the mounting tabs on the cell. Mine had 2 ent just in shipping, and they look even thinner than some of the sheet metal we use, so I'd definately support it accordingly.

Otherwise, come on with the updates already. Don't make me drive to Tx just to see what's going on, lol.

-body's back on the frame -traditional suicide doors are done
