slappys isnt setup to run a 27" tall tire either though. i was going to say the same thing, then i started thinking of different size tire making control arm angle different.

why so thick though? With the taller tube ya should need less of a wall thickness for it to flex compared to a 2x3 tube.

I used 1/8 thick on mine and it doesn't flex one bit.
