y run a thermostat? you don't have a heater (that i can remember)
so other than heating up the water to produce heat for the heater..you don't need one.. runs so much cooler without one |

Sometimes running no thermostat wll run the engine too hot, what happens is the coolant rushes back to the rad without cooling the engine off sufficiently. Depends 100% on the engine tho.
As for the sale, he mentioned previously during the build it would be for sale in September. |

Never thought about that.. I'm always watching my water temp... i also had the same problem at ITB last yr.. so now I have no thermostat

yes i agree with the motor running to hot without the thermostat so im going to be running just a thermostat washer you run inplace of the thermostat. give the coolent some blockage but will never fail like a thermostat.

they make different size restrictors that you can run in place of a thermostat to maximize cooling

also without running a thremostat you will be killing your engine motors are built to run a serten temp so the cooler is not always better and in this case i think its just going to ruin the motor but anyways it looks killer!!

About 1 or 2 pages back. Thermostat got stuck, overheated, blew both head gaskets.

the head gaskets are fixed and the truck is back on the road. i have been driving it alot lately to work, b4 the weather gets to shitty to drive it. everything seems to be working great and cant wait to take it to alot of shows next year. I have just finished building a frame table and ready to start on re-doing my 1965 chevy biscayne.
