Steering Linkage
I was wondering if the stock steering shaft will still work even tho im body dropped i know the linkage is lower now but im not sure what everyone does with it. some info would help alot.

most of the time people have problems are when they bd and do a v8 swap. you shouldnt have a problem if you keep the stock engine.

If its a 2nd gen the stock linkage will work fine if you are bodydropped to the rocker, the steering shaft just goes farther down on the shaft that goes into the gear box. I would move up the hole on the firewall so the shaft does not bind on the boot, other than that you should be good to go.

yeah its a 2nd gen the one in my avater. i will see if it binds at all when i put my cab back on but i just wanted to see if it was gonna be a problem before i got to that point. thanks guys
