Re: So I finally started...

small small update. Called the guys out at barely legal today, My no notch tie rods will be going out soon, thats fun. Also asked them if they knew a good air brusher. I will be displaying my air tank in the back of the cab with some stainless hardlines and fancy stuff. It will be painted the same blue as the top of the truck, and i will be getting the barely legal logo and phone number air brushed onto it. advertising, and cool looking! win win

Re: So I finally started...

I have a question to ask, and I dont want to start a new thread. My fenders are taken apart obviously (inner fenders are out). But, the metal that is on the inside of the fender, hits my tire. What did others with bodydropped dimes/blazers do about that? just cut the whole inner fender out, and re weld some other sheet metal in there?

Re: So I finally started...

alright well in attempts of finding a way to tie in an interior. I have thought of a couple different options pertaining to paint. (I must make up my mind as its going to be getting painted sooner than later). I can leave it true to the rendering, but thatll alter my interior scheme I am shooting for, so I thought of two new paint combos, same layout, just different colors. The first would be black on bottom, silver on top, with a bright color dividing (more than likely, blue). The other idea, would be a white on top, silver on bottom, with a color dividing. What are some feelings here?

Re: So I finally started...

well i have thought about two toning my truck and black is always a good color to go with, but truthfully i love your rendering so i would stay with the white and go silver.

Re: So I finally started...

i will probably still be painting it white and blue. I will just do the interior how I want to do it and if people dont like it, oh well. The white I am shooting for is a new color offered by GM, its called platinum ice. Its on the new GMC acadia ( I work at the plant where it is manufactured ) its one of the coolest OEM colors i've ever seen.

Re: So I finally started...

the color is the same as the white pearl, but instead of a gold base, its a silver base, it brings the color to live in my opinion, almost adds a blue hue to it.

so! I had this idea come across my mind today as I was looking at my truck. What if I sold the Alpine F1 stuff, and, put an Ls6 out of a Z06 in it....
