Re: So I finally started...
Looks awesome, i just have one concern but please stop me if im wrong.
This has to do with the where the front clip meets the floor of the frame. Isnt that a lot of stress to put on the frame at that point? I mean you're asking that weld to hold the weight of the wetire vehicle. Just wondering.... Looks good. Tony |

Richie has told me before he would build frames for people and let them do all the sheetmetal work and what not. They will build frame rails and other shit for people looking at doing back halfs

Re: So I finally started...
Well.... since this is my project thread, and not just my bodydrop thread, I guess I can post all my updates. Just purchased the first piece of my audio setup. Alpine DVI-9990, PXI-H990 and the TMI-M990. For those that are not familiar, that is alpine F1 status! I have spoken to nickzigaitis, I will be getting a bezel made by him! For now thats about it for updates. I look to be taking the body to barely legal next week sometime, the frame is just about done ( as I am sure you've seen ). Things should start coming together sooooon.

Re: So I finally started...
so just as an opinion. the truck will be painted just as it is in my avatar. For the interior, I will NOT be using any white, gets too dirty, how about black with some blue inserts on the seats, and then some of the plastic painted blue.

Re: So I finally started...
do all black leather seats, paint the dash blue, and the door panels blue and black. and paint the console blue maybe cover the top with the black leather, but yea black and blue would look good imo

Re: So I finally started...
i think black with some grey inserts would be tight, and then blue accents and glass work

Re: So I finally started...
these are my thoughts... black leather seats with black suede inserts. Cover the dash in some black suede, paint the bezel blue. Cover the sides of the console in black suede, paint the top blue. The pillars will be glassed to house my tweeters, cover them or paint them? I dont have a clue what I am going to do with the rear of the cab, I have to look at the tubs before any designing is done...Oh dont forget some new black carpet
