But shit happens and workin gon a truck and sinking money into it always has its shit days. But in the end it all makes up for it. Project looks great man, keep up the work and on thos edays its for sale, walk away and come back with a fresh start the next day, or next week

Re: So I finally started...
WOW, it's been a week and a half since I updated on this damned thread. I got my shock mounts for the front, and my DJM shocks as well. Got them all mocked up, I will be having my welder come over next week hopefully. Then I will tear everything apart and take it for the powdercoating. While that's gone, i think my father and I are going to start piecing together the motor. I am at the girlfriends house right now, but I will snap a couple photos when I get home.
Also, wondering if anybody needs a pair of tires? I am selling a set, they are in this link: http://www.s10forum.com/classifieds/...t=500&page= 1 Lastly, I have been speaking with a well known wheel company, wtwcorp. They are the makers of Giovanna, Gianelle, and a various assortment of other wheels. Anyway, he is willing to give me a deal on a set of wheels, so that thought is in my mind again... I do like some of them, but I just don't know. ![]() ![]() ![]() I just don't know! ![]() Last edited by Kenny_Cox : 08-03-2008 at 06:57 PM. |

Re: So I finally started...
Maybe the 2nd pic.... the others don't do anything for me.
Although I say stick with the current ones over all of them. |

Re: So I finally started...
I hope you got your money! I am going to toss around a few ideas, the main thing is that things are getting done. Slowly, but, surely.

Re: So I finally started...
the original is not going to happen, I am set on going away from the two tone as crazy as that may sound
But we'll see, I got a partial sponsorship lined up on a set of wheels IF i want to go that route, boze alloys. DEEP lip, powdered centers, and painted lips ![]() |

Re: So I finally started...
well the wheel company has switched again lol maybe. I like this wheel a lot:
cool thing I could do is paint just where there is a "valley" if you will on each spoke, they can color match, that might look cool. then there is this wheel: ![]() that one would get a color matched LIP ( which would be about 4-5 inches deep) and a black powdered center. I just don't know lol. One thing's for sure, if I want to switch it up, the intros won't take long to sell. haha |

Re: So I finally started...
OK, so I don't really know what's going on with the wheels quite yet, still debating.... I am getting some gussets cut tonight by the millwrights at my dads work, for the front shock mounts. I will get those welded in some time next week. Also, talked with the powdercoating place, they said whenever I bring it in, just give them a couple weeks, so that will be getting done SOON
. In attempts to save a little money here and there I have considered going with a factory option color (if you're a painter, know a painter, or know how much paint costs, please correct me!). It is a color offered on the new pontiac g8 GT, Stryker blue. pretty cool color.![]() |
