For some reason, the pictures are small, but I put the no notch tie rods on, and got the garage ready for some more work. I will work on the pictures, its got to be a setting in the camera, but you can still see all the pretty silver stuff!

Re: So I finally started...

I understand some people may be getting bored! I am too!! With my schedule being so different from everybody elses, it gets tough at times. The body guy is about ready to roll, just have to get it to him, which might be difficult. (I know, I have been saying this for weeks ) Once its there, I can start really working on the frame. Sorry guys, I suck at this updating stuff.

Re: So I finally started...

the ONLY problem as of right now is finding the trailer. I might have one lined up, just have to have the weather cooperate, and make the call. BTW, you have a PM.

Re: So I finally started...

Oh my! I took the cab off the frame. Might wait a little while to deliver the body to the painter. I need to do a little seem sealing, and a little "cleaning" of the undercarriage. Nothing major, just for the sense of security really. Might even decide what I want to do underneath, and do it myself before I take it over there. Might use some sort of deadener on the entire under-body. Not quite sure yet. Heres a couple photos, the frame, the cab, oh and the "new" cd player. I sold the alpine stuff for a hefty profit, and bought a whole bunch of new goodies. Enjoy folks.

That Pioneer is ODR, very rare piece, should show nicely
Dad doesnt think itll be done this year at all, hopefully, he is wrong...

Re: So I finally started...

its either 04 or 05, buts its regarded as the best thing ever brought to the mobile side of audio, it retailed for like 5000 US dollars, and there is only a few of these in the states...
In referring to the processor a very respected audiophile stated:

"The RS-P90 is the best damn 2-channel processor ever designed for car audio.
"

That was the previous version, mine is upgraded from that...

Read my edited post above yours.. I didnt pay that much, thats how much I though the two pieces retailed for. But, it was actually 7000 dollars.

No "asshole" assumption made! I didnt spend nearly that much on it. Granted it was more than most people spend on entire systems, but, this will not only be my show truck. I plan on competing with it in sound competitions when all is said and done. Its a passion of mine, it has been since I started driving. I love having good sound, it used to be more bass the better, but I have gone a completely different direction. If you see it at a show next year, I will gladly show you what I will come up with!

Yep I live in Lansing michigan, which is smack dab in the center. I plan on making it to ITB, as well as Havoc, but nothing set in stone. I have to get the truck done first. Id love to check out that fabbing in the cab of your truck, I almost pulled the trigger on buying it, glad another forum member bought it!

That is the thought for now, is it more boring? Yes, is it more subtle? Yes, will it allow me to do what I want interior wise and accent my audio more? Yes. A bunch of yes answers, and I am sure you guys will all still not like the idea lol
