Re: Redds TURD!

man your truck is so wicked, did you get any shots of whatever modifications you had to make to the stepside fenders on the bed, such as like the inner fender structure or anything

i only ask because i want to bodydrop my stepside this winter but the bed is what i am worried about the most haha

Re: Redds TURD!

I didnt modify anything on the fenders of the bed.... there was no inner fenders when I got the truck, pretty much everything was already cut out.

The tires do touch when i drag and not perfectly flat.. but only done it a few times down my street to piss the neighbors off a little and to see how nasty body sounds dragging. Layed out they dont touch haha.

But most people do have to section and raise the step side fenders for 20s. Guess id depends on offset and tire size

Re: Redds TURD!

Yea no problem man...

Im probly going to panel bond a piece to metal to the inner fenders to help prevent paint getting burned up if i decide to be dumb and drag my truck for some reason... cause im sure it will happen lol

ya thats a decent idea there, that is one thing i was worried about

i also have some decent rubber on my 18s and I am in the market for new rubber, so I could always try and get a more low profile tire and it would help with any problems i guess, my rims have a decent offset too, so they sit in from the outter fender, so that should help i hope
