Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s

i'm running monroe sensa trac shocks made for a nissan 94 hardbody. I untuck tire about an 1" but the busings on the shocks pancake to nothing when i fully lift the truck, i end up loosing about 1/4" of lift. In total i get about 10" of lift and the truck lays flat skid plate in the front.

why dont u get shocks that extend more and play around with ur mount to get it so that when ur bag is fully maxed out at max lift ur shock is maxed to.. cause i know u would like that 1/4 of more lift...

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s

i think what he's sayin is if he lets the arm go the rest of the way the balljoint will be maxed out and binding... so if he limits it just before that point he'll have no worries on the joint....

if im wrong, i apologize

my truck was into an accident about 1 and 1/2 years. i think it bent from that. i welded a bar acrossed so that the horns won't move from eachother because i knew the bumper already sat level the way it was. Hows your truck coming man?

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s

I have those rotors, get some Hawk pads and some braided stainless lines. That'll help your braking. I have that set up on my truck and romp on it daily and stops way better then stock did. So that could help slow those 22's down.
Lookin good though man.

I have the powerslot- slotted and dimpled rotors. As for the hawk pads, I think they are the carbon ones. Its been a few years since I bought them. I also have the russel lines. I think I've had this set up for over 2 years. I'll be replacing them soon, as there is about nothing left to them
