why did you have to cut that much of the floor up? i have to cut out the floor under the seats to have a flat surface to mount my cts seats i might as well do the bd since its not that much more work.

also what gauge did you use on the floor?

I had to cut that much out because my frame is 3.5" tall. If you weld the 3x2 in the stock frame rails like I did, then it will make the frame pretty tall. I also left the section of the frame that goes from the rails to the cradle stock becuase i didn't want to make it too weak. The result is the lower floor pans are about 1" taller than the stock ones. I'm using 16 awg sheet metal.

the only dude i know of that had to do that over body dropped his truck to like 3.5".... his rockers bend under too much. I guess i will just have to see what happens.
