Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
A 7" dual diaphram booster has close to the power of a 12" single diaphram. Its actually a little better than my stock one was but nothing crazy. Do note that a lot of the aftermarket master cylinders that come with those boosters suck and will really hurt your braking. This is why I made my stock one work. I don't like how ugly the stock ones are but It is worth it to keep. If i did it again id run a hydro boost because those are sick. I did one on my buddys truck and the brakes are crazy nice.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
i had 9" wide wheels with a 5.5" offset. If you get 9.5" wheels you might need a 6" offset because my wheels didn't come into the fenders quite as far as i wanted them too.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
Just letting everyone know that I took my truck out of the shop I was renting and drove it home. Its sitting until spring and hopefully by then I should have built up enough interest and money to get into it again. I used to get a lot more work done at home so hopefully I will get the truck done faster.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
well i don't really have anything left to do, the body drop is completely done. right now i'm sheet metaling the bed, doing body work, and interior work. I left all this stuff for last because i didn't want to ruin any of it during the body drop.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
Lowdime!!! I finally got my f ucking coys and through all that trouble they sent me the wrong backspacing. They sent me 5" I dont think it will lay out without having crazy negative camber...I figured youd be the guy to ask, so let me know. Thanks

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
5" wide whitewalls im pretty sure are rated for like 50mph...
my buddy steve (Trucks_69) has a skinny white wall in the front of his truck and i swear it looks like a wagon going downhill too fast over 55mph. |

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
yeah if i get the white walls chances are i am going to have to get radial not biased. for now i might get just some port-o-walls off ebay for $40 and put those over my stock tires.
