Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
throwin sparks, i had pretty much that same tire and wheel combo on for mock up and i can pull a little over 8" with re7s and drop spindels. I would take your shocks out once then see how much lift you get, it does look like they are maxed out. I can max out the front end with 100 psi pretty much as well.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
How can u measure the height of a bag compressed when its inside the rail? Also i BD it 3.5. Its exactly level with the frame. 100psi wouldnt be nearly enough for me. You guys are runnin the 4 bangers right? Im guessing my 4.3 has a bit more weight to it.
Another thing is that i bought the cups from SD. Wouldnt they have the right upper cup height? SHOW PICS OF IT WITH THE BED LAYED OUT! |

![]() ![]() ![]() BTW... the bed rockers need to be folded up a little more for the truck to lay flat... not much weight in the back. |

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
yeah they are basically the same exact intake which would be pointless to swap over to. he needs to notch the front of the intake, reweld it back together, and from what ive seen in other trucks in person is modify the throttle cable linkage next to the intake to lower it.

Re: Project ~ stock floored on 22s
Not bad for a days worth of work.....
![]() It took me for ever to cut the hood for my tires. I tryed to do it nice and clean though. I can push the hood down like 1/4" before it hits the tires. I decided to be a moron and cut the intake like i saw on other people's trucks without trying to close the hood first. I shined a light into there from the wheel well and it looks like i didn't even need to cut the damn thing!!! That sucked but at least there is no chance it can hit when i hit a bumper or from engine vibration. I didn't need to do anything else with the throttle but it might touch when the engine vibrates so i'm going to mod it a little anyways. I modded my ebay intake kit to fit under there too. I will have some under hood shots once the intake is welded up and put back in. Last edited by lowdime96 : 07-20-2007 at 01:31 AM. |
