ok i started this in december and my new years resolution was to finish and then i started working 32 hours a week going to high shcool and technical college at night and didnt have time for anything, well i graduated, quit my job and go to technical college 4 days a week during the day and started my own welding service,so i got some time to piddle now.heres a recap

my 91

my inspiration for this project

stripping mine down

topless

getting the top in place

i got it uncovered and back in the shed yesterday and plan on starting on the bodydrop when i get home from school tommorow.i havent decided if i want to go with 4 or 5 inches yet,im probably going to try 4 and if i dont like it i will go more.

Putting filler over paint is a wrong, it even says on the can not to do it not to mention putting it over shiny paint is even worse. Strip that shit off and start over man it will bite you in the ass later.

I think he is talking about what appears to be filler on the door. I think that may actually be a roll on primer?

Re: project:new years resurrection

as for the people who have asked about my plans,i plan on using an old stepside bed(no wheeltubs),fuelcell and battery in the bed,not sure what im doing up front yet.probably 2 braces coming from the radiator to the firewall and a old style grill and 2 round headlights(no hood or fenders).im going to tinker with it tommorow and decide what to do about the roof.i had originally planned on leaving it open and making a spiderweb out of roundbar and making a snap on cover out of marine vinyl(like a tonnaeu cover to cover a sunroof) but now im thinking a solid roof.after that i got a mildly built 305 and some tubing to make some old skool zoomies.flat or maybe semi gloss paint(leaving most of the dents and dings)
