Project BD stevo's ride

This is a truck i have been Bd for a buddy of mine. Its a 2.875" traditional BD on 20's with the cab moved back .75". I am about 3 weeks into the project, anyways heres some pics-

Torn down-



cleaned and marked for cuts-

Cutting it up-



Dropped down on the 1/1-




front horns cut and sectioned -

tacked back up-

front sheet metal mocked up-

filler panels started-


sides cut for slant fillers-

sides tacked in-

everything welded-

ha ha steven, i was just about to post those pics... thanks for the comments guys. I am going to move the steering shaft hole up and the gas pedal mount location up next.

It works really smooth, but only hooking it up and bleeding it will tell. Steven i wish you were closer i could talior the peadels to you better.

Also the brake and gas pedals are sectioned and fit back together.

thanks guys and hows it going grant? I have not seen you post in awhile, the steering shaft was binding pretty bad on the grommet. You could almost stick a finger through it, mines the same way so i decided to move it up to keep it from binding so bad and so that it would seal correctly. I am not sure on the tire size i believe that they are somewhere around 27" i probably almost tubbed the firewall big enough for 22's.

thanks guys, na steven i only put the dash in to make sure the clutch was not going to interfere with anything. Good thing i did not pay for that next day shipping huh ha ha! I am working on getting the wireing put back it now its gonna take a little bit there quite a bit to sort out. I also made the 3rd mount for the gear box and mounted the computer behind the dash. I will put some pics up later.
