havent updated in a while.....i cant get any pics until tonight hopefully....i left work early today bc i was sick but i feel kinda better now.... i got the step on 1 side all together it just needs finish welded i started the other side last night and hope to have most of it done today.....**** being sick i want to work on my truck hopefully i can get some pics of this bitch tonight the step turned out really clean

ill give you a tip.....makes sure the angle of the one where the seat bolt is, is the same angle as the one on the floor....itll make the filler that connects the 2 a shitload easier to make.

Here is how i did mine but im sure you could just weld a flat piece of steel where the pedals suppose to go and drill the 3 holes for the bracket then cut the pedal rod and reweld it shorter.

If you want to leave the seam and not cut it out you could do something like what I did

I cut and shortened mine in 2 places . You'll probably have to shorten yours a little bit.


In this pic you can see that I cut it and shortended it right above the mounting point and also right below it.



The throttle cable comes through the firewall in the stock location in this pic

my tank showed up today so this also means the old leaking piece of shit can be taken out and i can start on putting this one in and changing up the underbed setup a bit also....

well its ****ign snowing again...we got like 3" so far....and the GLI doesnt move on flat ground in it so look for some updates tonight.....

i bought my rear shocks, just waiting for my studs to show up from SD, and im in the process of mounting my steering column and pedals....
