bodydroppin the sonoma

Well i finally decided to cut the sonoma up after it sat in my yard for 2 months....its a 91 long bed already fully bagged....the plans as goes....bodydrop is 3.75", plated frame, tubbed firewall, vintage air setup, and a few other little things....heres a few pics before...





right now im in the process of pulling the inner fenders, and ripping out the heater/ac system and other misc interior stuff, the bed is already off....ill post pics up later of the progress.

i cant afford to build the other truck yet because as it sits its a bare frame, cab and bed....so im doing some stuff to this so i can have my mini fix while im building the other one the way i really want it...


no pics yet my computer has been acting up and i was a lazy ass yesterday and did nothing to it....today im gonna do soem stuff to it hopefully i can get some pics uploaded....

heres a few pics of what i started with friday.....bed off......




















heres my shaved center piece where the gauges will be mounted....





here it is in the shop....









as of right now....i got the whole heater/ ac system out of the engine bay, inners are pulled out, and the coolant tank.......next im pulling the heater from behind the dash and relocating the wiring harness....

well honestly the other one was having sloooow-no progress so im building this one to fill my fix....i cant afford to build the s10 yet....because it needs everything....everything is here on this truck...plus ill do everything i want to on the s10 and make it full out show truck....this will be the daily dragger

tonight im going to hopefully be picking up some either 1/8 or 1/4" steel to plate my frame with....i plan on going 3.75" which will be past the rockers....i want this bitch to lay hard as hell....

dude that pinion is waaaaaayyy off. your diff looks like its pointing almost 20 degrees off. I would definitely re-adjust how the lower link bar cabs are welding on to the axle man.

already planned....im gonna order another set of the bag mounts just like them and face them forward, move the bridge bar to the front of the notches and mount my shocks to the front of the axle instead of behind....therefor ill have a shitload more room for my air setup...


thanks guys....im pullin the dash either tonight or tomorrow if i take off work.... sunday it gets cut....
