I worked on the truck a bit today. I got the computer mounted, the ext. cab interior panels cut to fit back in the truck, the carpet is back in now, I think it is going to be really close to covering the sides once I get the plastic that goes beside where the door jam is and holds the carpet down. I also mounted my battery tray in the pass. side jump seat area so I am gonna have to do a little bit of fiberglassin on the panel so that it will fit and be covered up. Then I did the trans crossmember plate mod to get the truck to lay out more evenly. Everything seemed to go pretty smooth as far as putting the interior back in, next time I go home I am gonna get the rest of it put back together and bodywork the firewall to get it ready to put the front end back together, then I am gonna start back up on the bed so it may not be 100% done by heritage but it will be there by the grace of God. I am also considering cutting some stuff under the hood to fit the stock hood back on it rather than the cowl hood, what do you guys think about that idea. I like the look of a cowl but I think the stock hood looks really good on a bd truck as well.

I personally think stocks look great. I really want to keep my stock Sonoma hood when I get through with my BD but I can't fit the A/C with it. Wanna trade that cowl for a Noma hood?? Lol.

Thanks man, I am gonna post some more pics of it when I get the time. I was just so happy to have it there and in the show after all this work. Even though Patrick and I had a few little troubles, in the form of a bag and cup gettin messed up on mine and a wire in his switch box somehow gettin grounded and almost catchin on fire.
Right now I am kinda burnt out of working on mine (mostly because I have to drive over an hour to get to it to do anything) so I think I am gonna take a month or 2 off from workin on it and do some small random stuff to my yota that I can do at my apartment. I may start ordering some more parts for it such as a steering wheel and some other stuff i need/want. I think the next show I am gonna try to go to is Lay'd out at the park 09 so that gives me some time to relax and get my motivation back.

Yeah, I'd like to see some more pics of it, the work you did on the bed came out good man. Sucks about the mishaps, though. Patrick's truck was also looking good, both of your beds look great.

Thanks again, you shoulda came over and talked to us a bit. Most of the day we were just sittin under the tents behind our trucks with the rest of the guys from TK that came. The bed has a lot of work left on it but I think its gonna turn out alright.

I would have, but I didn't really know who's who. I didn't really stay long, started feeling sick, so I went home. You got a great start on the bed, should turn out nice.

That sucks about bein sick, I had a massive headache on sat. prob due to the heat. I hope the bed turns out nice, I still have a long way to go and I have kinda changed my mind a bit on what I was originally gonna do with it so it may take a bit longer than I originally thought. I probably wont go to anymore this year unless I just happen to have a weekend off work when a local show is goin on but I prob. wont hit up anymore until loatp 09.

I'd like to go to at least one more show and actually take my truck. There really isn't any more mini truck shows around here, not much shows in general. It's hard to go to any when I work ever Friday Midnight, Saturday and Sunday.

When I was haulin it down there somehow my driver side front bag and cup got all out of line and when I went to lift it the cup got wedged in the frame. It sucked but we got it fixed.

well me and RJ spent 4 hours last night taking my truck down to one of my buddies who is gonna paint it up for me. He is doing some last minute body work for now then putting some color on it. but in the mean time i gotta come up with a hood and a bumper. Got a pretty good idea on a bumper but idk what ima do about a hood yet

flipped the paint around and changed up the bumper a little, and put a stock hood on it. I think this one looks much better. And I figured Id post up this 2 tone pink one too, it looks kinda cool.

im headin over friday and saturday to put my cavi intake on the the truck and put on the new hood. Alot of body work has been done on the bed so ill post a bunch of new pics when i get back around on sunday....
