i haven't looked into it any, so i don't know alot about which seats people use. i took the back seats out the first week i had mine, and dont plan on ever putting them back in, or replacing them with another kind. that spot is reserved for a sub box in mine.

and yea, its gonna happen as soon as my beater gets done. you?

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

Im not bded but mine lays out on 20's and I have my seats back there still. They are cavi seats but seats none the less and they are more comfortable then the front seats. Plus you can recline them if you see fit.

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

it might be a few months BUT im checking into seats that might fit the back seat between the wheel tubs. ive got about 41" between my tubs. and 49" between the bottom of my doors in front of the tubs.

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

I don't know who's this is but he has a rear seat.

Obviously it's been modified but it looks sweet. IRS helps a lot. I have a ton of room. The only problem is that you have to get something narrow enough to fit between the tubs or make it custom like the pic.

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

fitting b/t the tubs isnt the problem. Any remotely decent interior shop can cut up the back of a seat to fit. Its keeping the four link and bags low enough for the seats not to be 3 inches away from the roof. A stock floor body drop pretty much makes this possible. Blazer frames are giant, 4 to six inches, and then you usually end up with the rear seat area raised atleast an inch or tow. So at the very least with a traditional body drop your rear seat will be around six to eight inches closer to the roof, and i dont know any friends that short lol

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

found a stock seat that fits between my tubs. its a stock 82-85 ish rear blazer bench its 38" wide inbetween the tubs gives about two inches total between my tubs left over. im getting it on the first gonna re wrap it, make new brackets and get it install during the winter some time. think it might be the same seat in that baby blue blazer above in the pics

Re: Body Drop A Blazer

it shouldnt be an issue until tubs come into play.

lots of builders forget about upholstery shops tho...

nothing grosser than panel-less primered trucks in cars shows... like those are unobtainable resources...

Werd... I will be installin my stock (looking) back seats in my blazer in probably 3-4 weeks. Its really not that big of a deal people just throw a fit when you gotta cut your back seat and get it re-wrapped

yeah depends on where you run your link bars to and how long they are. but if you run a 20 or better youll be just fine on lift...
