blazer sfbd stock frame rail question?

ok i been looking around the forum about body dropping my blazer, i seen guys cutting up there frames on the s-10 trucks and just laying 2x3 in the stock frame rails and cutting them down and boxing them in and lowering the mounting tabs on the side. now i only seen this on s-10s has anyone done this with a blazer frame? i know there is alot more work to do with the back half i just wanna know if it can be done or if any one has done this.

Re: blazer sfbd stock frame rail question?

Yes you could do the same exact thing. The rear section would need to be traditional'd due to not having any room to drop the rails in the back. unless you wanted to re-back half it then you would have all the room you wanted.

Choppin the frame down and dropping the mounts would be a breeze.
