Re: Blazer SFBD Progress

control arms are already notched so it woul lay out on my 17s i had before. i am probably just going to run stockers with whitewalls for now. once i get 20's, i will probably get tubulars. not sure if 20s are gonna fit under the hood though...

Re: Blazer SFBD Progress

no progress today. my parents stole my truck for a few hours so i had no transportation..then we got some shitty weather and the stretch of highway to the shop is pretty crappy so i decided not to go out. this week i have some hardcore catching up on school to do, but I'm hoping to get out there at least once, then again on the weekend. I need to help out some fellow club members with projects too sometime, and the girlfriend, (don't tell her she was last on the list)...ahh the life of the college student minitrucker..

Re: Blazer SFBD Progress

As if you let that get you down... so many people out there are so quick to judge on something thats not even done... if they can't realize that then they are stupid man... they obviously don't know what goes into building something, and how things progress.

progress pics help people who do understand whats going on see how things are done as it goes along. That way they learn step by step instead of seeing a finished product and going "how did they do that?". So thats how i look at it...hopefully what I'm doing will help someone else down the road. Since i didn't have much to go by, i am bound to make mistakes here and there too. By posting progress hopefully someone else can avoid making those mistakes. thats my theory anyways.

yeah i completely agree w/ that and i fully suuport it, hell we wouldnt have a lot of the forum if people didnt post progress pics, ive learned a ton from um.........i just cant stand to be told i should have done it this way or that way when there is really 300 ways to do about anything, when i first came to the forum and started a thread i was asked 300 questions about how i got money and it pissed me off, so from now on no progress pics lol...........i guess im a hypocrit what can i say

Unless its Constructive Criticism then ignore it. If someone doesn't like your work and doesn't give a reason and a way to fix it, then they don't know what they are talking about.

Keep up the good work and keep on posting pics!

Re: Blazer SFBD Progress

OK heres some pics from yesterday. My 4 link and gussets arrived yesterday..it was like a monster garage episode..FREEBIE, FREEBIE...thanks again to Bob at BYONDSIC CUSTOMS in Ontario for sponsoring the rear suspension on my truck. The 4 link and gusstes are all killer. I already started putting some gussets in, and hopefully soon i can get a driveline and some wheels so we can get the 4 link in place. Thanks again Bob.

TIG WELDED BARS...
