Move it up, and in. If you try doing a search in this section of the forum, you should find a few posts. Failing that, there are some pics in my gallery. (naked pictures of your sister)

Re: Basic Body Dropping

the booster does not affect stopping distance or brake performance, it only assists you in applying the brakes. so while you may have to press harder, the master is still moving the same distance and the brakes are still stopping the same as stock.

Larger brakes would help. Like Dave said, booster is still applying the same force virtually as stock. It stops the truck the way it is. Larger brakes would make a difference.

Re: Basic Body Dropping

I tied a rope to the release, and I reach through the grill. It's not finished, but it works for now.

Re: Basic Body Dropping

on one truck i put the release under the valance only because he wanted it there. ive found a trick with bd trucks to get the cable ran from the stock position and not interfere with the tire.

if you try to just move it up on the firewall, the cable gets shorter and sometimes it doesnt reach, not to mention it runs over the top of the tire. so what i do is drill a new 3/4" hole for the grommet under the brake booster. this way the cable runs from the stock release, out the firewall, on top of the frame and then thru the hole in the core support for the air intake and to the latch. it actually ends up being longer than you need which is good for the slack. heres a pic of what im talkin about..
