i'm glad i'm not the only one. i see the bag and the cylinders but i just don't see what is physically touching the IRS the makes it raise and lower looks awesome though

theres is still a pair of cylinders to be added that will hook onto the lower part of the spindle. still waitn on my other bars to come in that way i can finsh setting up the pass side. then i will mount the other set of cylinders. got alot to do in 3 weeks to get this thing ready for the unite show in florida.

if u look at the pics on post 307 u can see where the 2nd set up clinders are mounted. the suspension should be functional by tomorrow. i'm workn on mounting my last cylinder today. then i'll mount the fuel cell,tank and compressors and it will be ready to head down to florida for the unite show..and when i get it all working i'll take a vid of how the rear suspension works..

theres no REAL point to it atleast to my knowledge its pretty much jsut for looks and the periodic "WOW" but you basically connect the two hydraulic cylinders togeather with a hydraulic hose and fill it with hydraulic fluid while one cylinder is compressed and one is extended. Then connect the bag to it, the bag will just move the fluid through the two cylinders. So when the bag is deflated the cylinder attached to the bag with be extened. Then when u inflate the bag the cylinder attached to with compress exteneding the OTHER cylinder which is hooked to the suspension............ if u cant figure it out from that wait till he post a video of it ahaha hahaah

great work guys, a good working hybrid suspension is a tough thing to pull out sometimes, and you guys deffinentally hooked it up proper, that is some great work.

thanks for the comments guys..i'm glad it turned out good cause combining the hybrid with the vette irs was a pain in the a**...lol glad i'm about done with the suspension and can work on gettn the body on and the motor setup and running

yeah, i would have went with a taller cylinder if the irs wouldnt top out at 9"

devin....when are you leaving for florida? as soon as i walked in the shop this morning i told the boss i was gonna need that sticker cut out, and he was like well i'm busy right now cutting out the vinyl for the new sheriff's cars, and i was like well whatever, by the end of the day would be nice...well then the f'r never cut it, and i didn't even get off of work til almost 7 because me and the other guy that works with me had to go do a service call in southern pines, and he had already left when we got back, but he said earlier that he woulda had it cut and transfered and put it under my wiper when we got there if he wasn't there, and neither was the sticker, and he's taking off tommorow to go to myrtle beach with his bike...so i'm gonna have it to you thursday morning at the earliest, if you could come pick it up...just as my luck always seems to go.
