But as far as this build it looks good atleast you used a grinder on this one.
Next time, build it instead of buying it....Since you claim to be so good with fabrication, welding, and seem to have all this free time.

I understand he might have had welder issues but why not get ur welder fixed before u start on someones truck plus if someone dont want to pay what u want do half ass there truck that not right tell them to go on down the road. But like i said rigo your truck is lookin good.

Cool man this project is coming along. My friends have IRSon their trucks. One is a 300zx and the other is a RX7. Both are full frames so if you have any IRS questions, I know a little about them.
And you can get more than enough lift out of an IRS. It all has to do with the position of the chunk in relation to the center of the wheel. Show some more pictures and maybe we can keep this on topic.

yeah a corvette irs is alot more complex than the rx7 and 300z, it has a few adjusting points...kinda wish we went that route just cause its easier to do but the vette irs isnt going to be a problem, just a lil more money and time consuming.i pretty much have it figured out how i'm going to set it up though, just waitn on everything to come back..i should have everything back by wednesday. also got my trans and carrier bearing crossmembers in today so tomorrow i'm gonna mount the cell, tank and compressors..

so you're sayin your work is in essence just as good as an example of some of devin's worst, as you consider it?

I'm not positive, but I dont think devin works at suicide doors, so he's work has nothing to do with the bars twisting on the s10.

any bar that has the bag offset is gonna twist.

as for the irs, im running an early Mark VIII on my new truck, same as a t-bird but with disks, all the t-birds in the junkyard had drums. it has to be narrowed quite a bit as well.

the t bird/mark vlll irs would be just as a pain in the ass as the vette irs except the x-member on the ford is huge compared to vette same as avtekk said with the brake except there are a few rare t birds out there that where special ordered with disc,if your interested i have one off a 93 mark vlll i saved
1989-1997 Thunderbird Supercoupe
1992-1997 Thunderbird V-8 models with rear disc brakes
1992-1997 Lincoln Mark VIII
1989-1992 Mercury Cougar XR-7, supercharged V-6
1993-1997 Mercury Cougar V-8 with rear disc brakes
