99 s10 stock floor,20s,LS1,vette IRS,etc. buildup

this truck is gonna be my soul concentration* for a long time. i got the truck pretty much tore all the way down today. this is going to be a complete buildup, building a new frame from firewall back with 3x3 under the cab and 2x3 for the back half, sportn a 94 vette irs and a LS1 with a 4L60 tranny that has 28k miles on it. gonna be laid on 20" boyd ralley 2s with art upper and lower arms.gonna be fully shaved and painted with a smooth firewall and inside the bed. suicideing the pass side door and the interiors still up in the air. the list goes on and i'll get more into it later on. heres some pics of some of the parts and the teardown...

yeah its gonna sport a true canti setup, the vette irs is alot of work in itself settn it up.

wow, I see like 50 threads a month like this, but this is the first one that is really going to happen. Most are just kinds like me with big dreams and no money to get it done. I opened this one thinking im going to see a pos truck and some one talking. Then I open it and the motor was stearing me in the face, and I must say mad props to actually doing what you say.

heres a few pics from today, pretty much got all the measurements i needed and startd to clean up the engine cradle some. tomororw the rest of the stock frame will be cut off and some new 3x3 will be added..

i havent started on the install of the rear end yet, i'm wowkn on the center section right now, been going kinda slow at the moment since where i get my gas for the torch it out of oxygen till tomorrow where i can make my plates to hook to stock craddle to the 3x3 rails..

not sure about 100% completion but we'll have the frame at skr8pfest hopefully and then look for it at shows in 07
