Re: 1st gen manual Traditional BD HELP!!!!!!!

are you talking about when you drop the cab, the master will hit the upper control arm?

I sectioned that little "roll" out(of the stock upper) just enough to clear mine and it was super close. Now that i have flat plate uppers, they clear fine.. THEN i decided to move the cab back so gave more room. mine is still in the stock location.

You could remove it, cut the section of steel out that it mounts to, basicall "pivot" the whole assembly (where it connects to the pedal) up a few inches to clear everything, then box it in and weld it up..

Or move it up and shorten the rod a little bit.

Re: 1st gen manual Traditional BD HELP!!!!!!!

street signs are most likely galvanized steel

sure you can weld it, but that shit gives off fumes that cause cancer. And you'll have problems welding galv. steel to mild steel sheetmetal like our floors are

It looks like a box recessed into the firewall with a shortened rod. I don't have any pics of that
