wheels on craigslist.

i saw these wheels on my buddies crew cab s10 zr5 and wanted them for my 4wd s10.. now that i have another 2wd ive been looking for wheels to go along with my drop. i think these would look pretty good. but since they are from a 4wd i would need a 2.5 inch spacer front and rear right?
here is the link to the ad.. let me know cause theyre brand new and i think theyd look good..

Re: wheels on craigslist.

Nice looking wheels pretty sure you would need a spacer for both front/rear but not 100% sure on size

Re: wheels on craigslist.

yea i think theyre nice looking wheels too.. since theyre for the 4wd i think the right spacer size is 2.5"
cause on the 4wd s-series trucks the corvette/camaro wheels fit right up with no spacers so if i am thinking correctly in order for them to fit right i would think you would need to have a 2.5 " spacer to match the corvette rims..

Re: wheels on craigslist.

2" spacer IMO. s10 2wd wheels iirc have 4" bs, and 4wd wheels have 6" bs.

so 2"

This is the 2nd Blazer...1st one was an '85 that we bought new. Toasted the motor & 200K. I got her a '92 Z71 with a 3" lift and 33's but she didn't like it so we got the '02 ZR2. Just turned 77K.

Re: wheels on craigslist.

Well...I picked up the ZR5's this morning. They are in excellent shape. I asked the guy what the story was on them. The ZR5 belonged to his m-i-l, and she didn't like them...WTF!! so she got something different. Shortly after that she totaled it....again WTF!! Wish I could have gotten the ohc wiring harness but the truck was gone.

I made the same offer to Travy when I was looking for a set of ZR5's. I'd be glad to sell you my PA3's (minus the drakedust) so that you would have a spare set...

Re: wheels on craigslist.

So the moral of the story is, don't post a Craigslist link until AFTER you've bought the item!!!

Re: wheels on craigslist.

I definately don't need a spare set. I hated the pa3's until I got my truck. I like them but I absolutely love the zr5's. My mom has an 04 crew cab and I tried getting her to trade it on a yellow zr5 last year because hers got hit and she wanted to get rid of it since it had been wrecked but she ended up keeping it. I know a place that has one for sell and I'm think about asking if they would trade the wheels for mine with a little cash. It's worth a shot, you never know until you ask!
