tallest 14" tire....
i am looking for a taller tire for my stock 14" rims. i found some 27X8.5R14 but was hoping for at least a 30" or 31" all terrain style tire. am i better off looking for new 15" wheel and tires? i want to run a set of stock style steelies like i have now.....maybe i can find some in 15"?

super swamper makes "baby swampers" in 28" and 29" sizes for a 14" rim. some peoeple even run them on 4wheelers that come with 14" rims.

i was hoping to get something with better tread life. i have had some swamper tsls before and i liked everything but the small amount of miles they lasted. for the money they cost and the amount of offroading i will see they just won't fit the bill.
are there any steel stock type rims like mine available in 15"? |

also, will i need to lift the truck any for 31" tires? i was thinking maybe a 2" body lift if need be. or just pics of 27" tires on a stock s10 first gen.
