Re: **New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks**

Hey, I just ordered some 20x9 (panther vector rims) with 245/35/20 tires. I have a stock suspension. Should they mount right up and fit fine? The place I ordered them from (www.wheelguyz.com) told me with those tires they should fit right on there fine. Anyone able to confirm?! PLEASE HELP!

SPINDLES will make it worse. instead of rim touching tire will rub.

Re: **New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks**

I bought some 16x8 centerlines with a 5" backspace. I put them on before mounting any tires so I wouldn't void warranty. They're hitting my tie rod. Will some 1/2" or 3/8" spacers fix my problem? Which will be best if so? I plan on putting 235/55 or 245/50 on them don't know if that is relavent or not.

Re: **New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks**

i plan on getting some 17x12s for the rear...i want as much dish as possible and im gettin the rear shortened so it doesnt matter....what offset and backspacing would give me the best result? Also, what about tires...oh, and if i cant get a 17x12, im going to settle for at least a 10 or 11...would the same backspacing work if i got these...

Re: **New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks**

toying with bagging the truck. probably end up cutting fenders eventually, but how will 245/45/17 with 4.5 bs be? i already have the wheels, just need smaller tires.

what size tires do I get for 17x7 4"bs front, 17x9.5 5.5"bs rear. I want to keep the same outer tire diameter as my swirlies with stock tire size.

20x8 4.5 bs 245 35 20 255 35 20
20x10 5.5 bs 275 30 20, 275 35 20, 285 30 20

why are these rims 2 inches wider then each other but have only have a different back spacing of 1 inch?

because you have more space to work with in the rear than front. ive done tons of set ups like this no probs ever.

22X10 5.5 BS 295 25 22, or 295 30 22, or 285 30 22, or 285 35 22. or 285 25 22.

what size tire are you running in the front??? what is the backspacing of the wheel?? what is the overall height you want to run. stock tires r 27.1 inches tall do you want a taller tire than stock? do you want a shorter tire than stock? Do you want some sidewal or low pros wont matter. I need to know what size yoru running in frotn so i can get you a tire that has the same amount of sidewall or more in rear. running a smaller sidewall tire in rear looks funny dont want to do that to you.

20x8.5 with 4.75 b.s. and 245/35/20 up front. I haven't ordered my wheels yet. I'm going to order them tomorrow. at this point I'm not worried about matching up with the stock tire height as long as my wheels/tires look good. they will be billet so I don't want to bend them by running over a twig in the road.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

doesnt offset determine backspacing? typical on a 8" rim is 0mm=4.5bs? and the 20mm adds .78 to the bs which would be 5.2" backspacing on the 8" rim...and the one with 18mm would be 5.5" backspacing wouldnt it?

if you run a 245 35 20 in front a 285 30 22 in rear will have about the same sidewall. and ive seen billet bend on 245 35 20. have you thougth about doing 20x8.5 in front and 20x10 in rear with a 295 30 20?

they wont be everyday wheels. only going to roll them to shows and meets. I have my 18's for regular driving. If I do end up bending one of them then i'll let you know that I should have listened haha. thanks for clearing that up for me.

18x8 with 20mm is 5.28 bs where as the 18x9 with 18mm offset would be 5.7 bs.

the front will stick in 3/4 inch more than they should and rear will also be the same 3/4 to much. they will work but looked sucked in

it will still work no probs just see how you like the look. when i do the s10s i like to keep the tire as close to the fenderlip as possible without it touching.
