will the stock ls rims/tires rub on a 4/5 drop with chassis tech spindles? not sure how far those set the tires out compared to stock. also will i risk draggin the frame/anythin else with that drop? if you could i would prefer a pm

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

I have been lookin' an lookin', but I can't seem to find any information. I have a 1987 Jimmy with a 2/3 drop and am wondering if some 17x9.5's will be too wide in the front. If I can get them to fit, what size tire would you recommend? Research has given me information for the rear. But the front is a concern. I currently have 235/75/15 doughnuts on the truck now but it is definitely time for a change.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

Ok, I might be getting some 17x8's, so what's a good tire size I'd want to run? My Sonoma is lowered 4/4.

5x4.75 -- 4.5 BS -- Offset is 0

Thanks.

Will 20x8 Boss 335's Fit my 93 Sonoma 2wd if dropping it?
I saw a posting somewhere that said they would not unless I had a 4wd. I love these rims but do not want to buy if they will not fit.
HELP Thanks...

This is what I found...
20x8.55 on 4.75+25 mm
+25mm
I'm not sure but I think I need to be closer to 10 or 12mm right?

you need 0 offset bro. +12 on a 8.5 wheel is like a 5.25 bs would look sucked in more.

i would try to get as close to a 0 offset as possible. 245 40 20 with +14 will rub hard at full lock.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

Ok I've found some rims I want for my truck.

The size: 18x7.5
Bolt Pattern:
5x120.65mm or 5x4.75
Offset: +35mm

Will these work and if so, what tires would be best to run?

Oh yea I've got a 4/4 drop, sorry forgot to add that.

You think I could fit A pair of 17x9.5's on the rear of my blazer with a decent rubber on the back? like a 245/55? any suggestions? i want to have some width to my rears but not too low profile. and i'm thinkin staying with the 17X8's up front w 225/55/17 (current setup)

7.5 you want 0 offset ie 4.25 bs. +35 mm will stick in 1.25 inches to much

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

My eyes are crossing from reading all of this! I have a 2001 Blazer that's bagged in the front and 3" drop in the rear. I'm geting some C5's for it. 17X8 in the front and 17X9 in the rear. I have 2.5 spacers for it but am clueless on what tire size I need. I'd like it to have a lower profile but not be rubberbands or stretch to reach the bead. PLEASE HELP!!

Im having a real hard time finding a 20x8.5 with 0 offset!!! When I had 20x8.5 with 0 offset on 255/35/20 i rubbed on full lock too! Im more concerned about normal driving. I noticed on ebay they sell 1/4 and 3/8 inch spacer plates so if it really bothered me then i could probably do that?!

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

OK, on the chart, it says for an 18x7, you want 4 inches of back spacing on the front if you are bagged. At the top of the chart, it says that drop spindles move the wheel out 1/2 inch. So are the bagged wheel recommendations with or without drop spindles?

Just wondering if these would fit on a stock s10?? Thanks
And just wondering what the best size tire would be to put on with a stock xtreme drop. Im not to familiar with tire sizes but i was thinking 235/40/20.
