if you have a zq8 set up 2/3 more its going to rub but if not if its stock now then 2/3 on top of that 255 35 20 will be fine hell 245 40 20 will be fine also. If you look at my blazer i have 245 40 20 and 275 40 20 rear and a nice drop no probs.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

is there any chance in hell that i might be able to fit a set of 20'x8.5 silverado/trailblazer ss wheel on a 98+ blazer. - i know that the ss wheels have a six lug bolt pattern and would require an adapter at least- maybe theres a way to convert from 5 lug to 6 lug like some of the other minis that have been converted from 6 to 5-

asking bc ive been throwing around the idea of a factory styled ss s-10 blazer(if any of you try and copy me ill be at your front door eger to greet cha)lol- and the wheel are the only thing i think im going to have a problem with

way to much backspacing man you could do it if you get 6 to 5 lug adapters that are 1 inch thick.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

what about changing the pattern on the rotors while upgr8ting to a rear disk setup? ill have to dig up the article i found on a similar swap to figure it out.

so you saying there is a good chance that i can fit this wheel on a blazer without looking funny or major scrubbing/contact

255 30 22 22x8.5 4.75 bs 4/5 drop all day long.
or

255 35 22 22x8.5 4.75 bs 3/4 drop

how low do you want to lower it??? if you want to do a 4 inch drop or more i would c notch the rear so you have a nice ride.

here was my old blazer xtreme 5/6 drop with 255 40 19 no probs at all.

yes 215 60 15 will fit on your stock blazer wheels but you will need to slam it to make it look right at least a 5 inch drop.

I have a 98 x-cab lowered 4 inches front and back. Will a 15x8 with 4inch BS fit with a 275/60/15 drag radial? For those that run 10 inch wide wheels with 5.5 BS how much room is left on the inside?

yes 15x8 with 4 inch bs will fit but will be close to the lip you might have to roll it.

on a 19x10 with 295 35 19 5.5 bs i had about 1/2 inch to the inside leaf no probs with rubbing. ive done many 15x10 5.5 bs 295 50 15 bfgs on s10s no probs

import the smallest spacer i would trust would be a 1 inch set up.

so if its a 18x7.5 you would need 0 offset or 4.25 bs. Now if its 35mm and you get 1 inch spacer leaves you at +10mm offset which will still work Do it bro.

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

if you click on my car domain site below... thats what my blazer looked like with 5 inch drop up front and i guess 4.5 rear. The wheels that were on it were 20x8.5 w/ 0 offset on 255/35/20 with no problems of rubbing. Im planning on going with new 20s.. whats the most + or - i can go with as far as offsetting goes.
I also found a few 22x8.5 that I like. Whats the most + or - i can go with as far as offsetting goes and tire sizes?

ANy help would be appreciated!

Re: New Updated Rim/Tire Fitment For S Trucks

Now i'm planning on bagging the truck in the future and is planning on running a 17x8 wheel with 4.5bs with a 245/45r17 tires on them. my question for the back was answered when i looked at the chart but i didn't see anything info for the front for the size i'm planning on using. I was wondering what problems will i encounter or will they be fine. i'm running 245's now on my stock xtreme wheels which are 16x8 and lowered 2/3 on top of the zq8 drop and there are times i would hit a decent bump and the tire would rub the flares that the xtreme's came with. But now the tires rubbed some of the plastic away so it doesn't rub anymore and i dont see anything else that would be in the way when i go to bag it. Also i should say the tires rubbed mainly when i was making a turn and hitting the bump.

HELP!!! What wheels will really fill up the fender well good and not rub for 92 chevy s10 lowered 5 in front and 6 out back? I want to keep the same wheel and tire combo all the way around. Easier to carry a spare.

you should at least specify what size wheel you want.
my 15s with 205/60 fill mine nicely...

15x7 4 inch bs 215 60 15
16x8 4.5 inch 225 50 16
17x8 4.5 bs 225 45 17
18x8 4.5 bs 225 40 18
19x8 4.5 bs 225 35 19
20x8 4.5 bs 225 25 20

heres one i did 4/5 drop 225 45 17 and 255 45 17 rear. I notched it like 3 days after pic was taken and put 3 inch block in rear. This was like 7 years ago when i did it. Do date the truck has had no probs and over 230k miles on it. Still on the doetsch tech shocks i put in there way back then
